BURN @ LLGFF 3 April 2011
Sunday April 3 from 6.10pm at BFI Southbank

BURN, the platform for moving images by cabaret artists, is back as
part of the 25th BFI London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, with new live
and video work from the scene’s most compelling performers, plus
afterparty by Dalston’s favourite deviants, GutterSlut.

Programmed and introduced by Ben Walters, creator of BURN and cabaret
editor of Time Out London, it’s a unique fusion of film, performance
and clubbing where divas meet DV, screen tests meet greenscreen and
video goes walkabout in drag.

This will not be your average Sunday at the NFT.

In live video-interactive performances…
DICKIE BEAU premieres a new vision of Marilyn
A MAN TO PET gets superpowers
MISS ANNABEL SINGS channels Marlene

And on screen…
SCOTTEE hunts Lisa Stansfield
DAVID HOYLE does a building site
JUSTIN VIVIAN BOND unpicks an American wedding
FANCY CHANCE whites up
BOURGEOIS & MAURICE get animated
ALP HAYDAR seduces himself
TY JEFFRIES excavates Garbo
NANDO MESSIAS goes full sissy
HOLESTAR pokes chatroulette
and more’s on the way.

Then, in the Blue Room party space…
Tunes from GUTTERSLUT founder DJ NIC FISHER, A MAN TO PET at large and
strap-on visuals by PRICKIMAGE, plus videos of the Dalston Gay Mafia’s
adventures at the Pale Blue Door, Glastonbury, Berlin and beyond.

And as if that weren’t enough, we’ll have limited free guest list to
WETYOURSELF at Fabric afterwards.
