BURN
A NIGHT OF MOVING IMAGES BY CABARET ARTISTS
Curated by Ben Walters, cabaret editor of Time Out.

Bistrotheque, 23-27 Wadeson Street, London, E2 9DR
Sunday June 6, 6pm
£5 on the door

For artists perennially working on a shoestring, the advent of cheap DV has opened up new dimensions of the imagination.

From music videos to gorgeously photographed art films, witty online trailers to video-interactive live work, high-concept gags to experiments in light, the moving image is being embraced by the underground as never before.

Regulars on the performance scene will have noted this change but so far no one has put it centre stage.

BURN is a space for these sparks to combust.

This first event features live video-interactive performances by

CANDEE HANDFUL ** MISS ANNABEL SINGS ** A MAN TO PET

Plus video work from

DICKIE BEAU ** BOURGEOIS & MAURICE ** MA BUTCHER

NATHAN EVANS ** ALP HAYDAR ** DAVID HOYLE ** TAYLOR MAC

NANDO MESSIAS ** SCOTTEE ** RYAN STYLES
